3D Personalised Photo Crystals

The biggest difference is that 2D photo crystals are engraved with a flat image, whereas 3D photo crystals feature a three-dimensional portrait that can be viewed from all angles. A 2D crystal looks similar to a traditional photo print floating inside the glass, whilst a 3D crystal picture is more lifelike and looks more like a mini sculpture.

All 2D and 3D photo crystals work best with portraits of people and pets. Since the engraving is so detailed, we recommend only using photos of the highest quality possible, as this will give you the best results.

Yes, your photo crystal can be engraved with more than 1 person, but they usually work best with photos of 1 or 2 people. 3D photo crystals look particularly impressive with a picture of a single person, as photos of multiple people will make each face smaller and reduce the realism of your photo crystal. 

2D photo crystals are better suited to large group shots and big family portraits, as the flat engraving makes it easier to add multiple faces.

Yes, we will remove your photo background for you, so you don’t need to worry about doing this before uploading your photo. Photo crystals are only suitable for portrait photos, so please only add pictures that clearly show the people or pets you’d like us to engrave.

Photo crystals are masterfully laser-engraved inside the glass, so your image won’t ever fade, peel or tear. The engraving inside the crystal is completely permanent, so you can only really damage your photo by dropping or cracking it!
